I think i'm anorexic but not sure. I don't like eating and i try to eat the least as i can to lose weight but i'm not very fat (about 150 lbs. for a 13 year old) ? I would like to know if i am or not or if i just have problems. And i'll also want to know where i can read up on anorexic people etc...
FMZ - Around 150 for a 13 year old girl isn't very skinny, unless you're tall, you may have problems, it depends on what will happen once you lose your desired amount of weight.
ReplyDeleteLeah - Im 13 and I dont even weigh 100. Your not anotexic hun
ReplyDeleteAaron Powers - Weight is based upon height not age. I am 194 lbs and 6'3'' I am border line over weight but the doctor says it is more muscle than fat so i am fine. I know 6'1'' kids who are 130. You should be fine.
ReplyDeleteMe. - All your doing is putting it in your head. Your 13 Years old you DO NOT need to be worrying about your weight! Eat and stop complaining. Besides anorexic is when you eat and you throw it up right away thats how you can tell that your just trying to convince yourself that you have it.
ReplyDeleteBasketchick - In order to be anorexic you have to think of yourself as obese and you will cut your calories and do compulsive exercising (usually) Once you loose the desired weight if you keep trying to lose more and more then that would be anorexic. Just eat at least 1200 calories a day if you are trying to lose. Even then, this could not be healthy. Look up an online chart that can calculate what you should eat in a day in order to maintain, gain, or lose weight.
ReplyDeleteMadi - When did you start feeling this way? If it was really recent then this could be early signs of anorexia, but obviously if your still at a normal weight it hasn't gone too far. Oh and by the way, anorexia is NOT when you binge and throw up your food, that's bulimia. Anorexia is when you drastically cut your food intake for long periods of time. And by drastically i mean, as low as 100 calories a day. Please Email me whenever at beautifiedbrunette@yahoo.com If you need more specific details. Im, unfortunately, very educated on Anorexia.
