i think im having a allergic reaction... my mom switched laundry soap and she washed my underwear with it and now my genitals are sore and are broke out in hives.. what can i do ??? im 19 also i cant pull back my foreskin
Happy Hippie - Soaking in a lukewarm tub of water and baking soda should help the hives and swelling. Also, if you have any allergy medication (Benadryl, Lotrimin...) that will help as well.
? - You really need to see a physician. This may be a simple allergic reaction, but if you are sexually active there may be something else going on (STD). Have you had hives before? Is only the genital area affected? I have had an allergic reaction to laundry detergent. My eyes were swollen and I had a terrible rash all over. I went to the doctor and she asked a few questions, took some blood and a culture of the rash, and was able to diagnose it as an allergic reaction. After answering a few questions she was able to pin point it to the new detergent that I was trying. Not being able to pull back the foreskin is a health issue in itself. You have to be able to pull back the foreskin to cleanse the penis properly. Again, my advice to you is to see a physician. Better safe than sorry.
Curt Bryan - Chase dude that happens the best thing for you to do is to buy a dye free fragrant free soap to wash your clothes. I know what you are going through my butt breaks out when i use a soap with color and smell. Just tell your mom that since she changed soap you are breaking out on you underwear areas all over and you need to go back to the old soap or a FREE dye fragrant soap. Dude cant pull back the foreskin sounds like it is tight. When your in the shower pull it back the next time pull it back more then more the foreskin needs to stretch out to allow your head to come out of the opening with time and patents it will eventually happen when you have a woodie pull it back as far as you can then more and more the next times if you are persistent you will be successful your foreskin should be able to pull back hard or soft.
