I've had my braces off for two years now and wear my retainer every night. I've never really had problems but the other night a few minutes after I put my retainer in I got a sharp pain right above my right ear that would go away and come back but lasted less than 5 minutes. Can Retainers Cause Headaches?
I've had my braces off for two years now and wear my retainer every night. Anonymus None - No, I haven't heard of anything like that, sometimes when I put my retainer in my teeth feel sore but I've never heard of a retainer causing headache or ear pains. Maybe you should talk to your orthodontist.
