I have no clue why but lately I've been randomly feeling sort of... fuzzy. My face gets all tingly, and I get these weird flashes where I can't tell what direction is down, but they only last for a split second. The face feeling all weird lasts for a long time, though, and sometimes other parts of my body feel that same weirdness. One time drinking a fruit smoothie made the dizziness go away, but it doesn't seem to work now.
What's wrong with me and how do I fix it?
I didn't select the diabetes category, it just did that on its own. I don't THINK I have diabetes but it is possible... I'm not a healthy eater. I'm 18 and female, if that
helps anyone diagnose me. I also recently got a lot of dental work done so I haven't been eating or drinking much.
americanfighter8481 - Sounds pretty basic, but are you drinking enough water? When you start dehydrating you'll become dizzy, see white spots, cloudy vision, ect...
ReplyDeleteCelinea - When I have a shortness of breath , I get all dizzy and tingley. You may have a deep headache or something similar, depending on your age, it could be a condition if you have it for many of days/weeks, if so go see a doctor. xoxo Or maybe you just haven't had enough sleep, simple as that.
ReplyDeleteCassie! - Seeing as ur question is in diabetes and drinking a fruit smoothie helped, I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say it's likely due to low blood sugar. Try carrying small hard candy with u so u can eat it when u start to feel dizzy.
ReplyDeleteBianca - There could me numerous reasons why your feeling the way you described. My recommendation to you is to go get a physical. Blood pressure, blood work and other tests can be done to determine your condition. Good luck
ReplyDeleteLi - Have you been tested for Lyme Disease? If not please do! It may take 3 tests before showing a positve result. The spirochetes are hard to find in a regular blood test.
ReplyDeleteDoctorCrazy - you are probably dehydrated. its happened to me before. before you end up fainting, i would suggest to drink lots of water. too much dehydration can lead to life threatening conditions. you're body is probably weak now. Hope this helped!
ReplyDeleteJohn W - Could be any number of things. Hypoglycemia when your blood sugar is low would be fixed by a fruit smoothie right away. Vasovagal Syncope is common and is caused by fear, anxiety and stress, you may not even consciously be aware of the fear, anxiety or stress. Dehydration can cause those problems too. Not eating or drinking will give you hypoglycemia and dehydration. Try using a straw to get around the teeth and drink a nutritional shake like Ensure or maybe even milk.
ReplyDeleteAs to fuzziness, when I'm fuzzy, I shave. Best not to do so while dizzy though.
