Growing 2 Inches More At 19 For A Girl, Possible Or Not?

396545382 I'm almost 19 and my current height is 5.6.5, I would love to be 5.8, Is it possible to grow 1.5/2 inches at my age? If so (:D) then what should i do to gain these inches....

Now, let me tell you a little more about myself;
I used to be very very active and sporty, I also ate healthy and had a good diet balance, I was 5.5 aged 13, taller than the average, and the tallest in my class. Then aged 14 I had a terrible accident and spend many months in the hospital, after that my active life came to an end, I gained weight and only grew 1.5 inches more. I still ate healthy but didn't exercise no more. Everybody thought I would be super tall like 5.10 or something by this age, but unfortunately my spurt came to an end. :( Now that I'm older I want to start exercises again, my accident was related with sports so I got scared but I'm not any more.... If it helps My mum is 5.4 and my dad is 6.3, my mum's family is really tall though. I'm not looking for a mega spurt but just an small increase in height, as my family is quite tall and so are my siblings...
Thanks all the answers will be appreciated.

And please don't advice me to love myself and accept the way i am and all of that crap... :D

  2. Frankie - Not very likely. Nor is there anything you can do about it one way or the other.

    To reach your potential height you need adequate sleep (from 8-10 hours per night), adequate calories and a normal healthy diet.

    Plenty of protein from eggs, meat, poultry, sea food and dairy products helps as well as calcium from milk, cheese and other dairy products. You also need plenty of zinc from red meat, oysters, mussels, nuts and seeds and zinc fortified cereals such as Weetbix.

    Girls usually stop growing at 15 and in most cases any further height growth from 15-21 is insignificant but there are exceptions such as late bloomers.

    Guys usually stop growing at 18 and in most cases any further height growth from 18-25 is insignificant but there are exceptions such as late bloomers.

    Undereating and undersleeping can, to some extent, stunt your height growth. Exercise does not help your height growth and smoking can actually reduce your potential height by a whole inch. Too much junk sugar can reduce your HGH level as in item 40 in http://www.rheumatic.org/sugar.htm

    You can see further tips in a web search for "how to grow taller naturally".

  4. Itachi Uchiha - It is unlikely that a girl your age will grow much more, because girls stop growing before guys do. You may grow to 5'7, but probably not all the way to 5'8. Being active might help a bit, and since most growth happens in sleep, make sure you sleep a full 8hours a day. You can try stretching your back, as that can expand your spine a bit and add just a little height. Also try hanging from a bar as that has proven to work slightly by allowing the spinal column to decompress and expand by absorbing extra water (look it up if you want). Also, make sure your posture is great, as that can add a good inch if it was poor before. Good luck and I hope you make it! :)
