Every time my boyfriend takes a dip of his chew 30 mins after he's done his neck swells on the left side of the mid clavicle; not the whole length of the neck just about 2inches up from the collarbone. It stays swollen, does not hurt, just gets in his way and feels like there's something pushing on his throat. If he quits chewing (which he's tried doing 3x now) it eventually goes away. Dr's thought it was hyperthyroid, drew blood and all levels were normal, they did a sonogram and nothing showed up. What could be happening and how!?Wednesday, January 4, 2012

Every time my boyfriend takes a dip of his chew 30 mins after he's done his neck swells on the left side of the mid clavicle; not the whole length of the neck just about 2inches up from the collarbone. It stays swollen, does not hurt, just gets in his way and feels like there's something pushing on his throat. If he quits chewing (which he's tried doing 3x now) it eventually goes away. AAR29 - This used to happen to me back when i dipped. It turns out there was a giant puss bubble growing in the inside of the throat. I went to the doctor and he stuck a long needle down my throat and drained the puss. it was fun.
