Sickel Cell Trait In The Air Force?

I have just singed up to the air force a few days ago and i went through the whole MEPS physical and everything, and i started to worry because i have sickel cell trait and i didn't tell any of the doctors or my recruiter. i've talked to my doctor about it and she tols me that the trait had no impact on my health and that there was no need to ever worry about it. so i guess what im asking is Will this effect me in basic? should i let my recruiter know? and will is disqualify my at all? thank you.
