Any information would help even if it doesnt exactly relate to exact question.
I've been eating some dairy recently but not things like milk and ice cream. Is it better if I eat a little at a time or should I just wait till he is a year to be re-tested? I am definitely staying away from peanuts cuz he tested higher. I havent eaten eggs directly but I've had a little in baked goods. Its this ok too? We are in between appointments and I am not sure what I should start to eat. He has also started eating a bunch of solid foods and loves those Gerber puff things. The problem is all of them have some find of dairy in them (except maple cinnamon ones) like whey, cheese, or sour cream. Would it be safe to try and give him some of the other ones?
He is allergic to cow's milk and dairy. Breastmilk is different than cows milk
Actually our Doctor said it is ok to re-introduce these things into my diet because most babies grow out of allergies. It is better to reintroduce them to see if he has built up a tolerance. Please to not answer questions if you have know idea what you are talking about. I am not putting my son in danger.
Breastfeeding is actually good for babies who have food allergies; it helps them build up a tolerance and babies who are breastfeed are most likely to grow out of their allergies compared to children who are formula feed.
Queen of the Dust Mites - pardon my ignorance, but if your son is allergic to milk then why are you breast feeding him?
ReplyDeleteAre you lactating apple juice?
Mtn girl 48 - The doctor told you that your baby is allergic to certain things. Do you not think that these foods come out in your breast milk. If you want to eat these things because you can't stay away from them for your baby's health, then STOP breastfeeding, and eat whatever you want.
ReplyDeleteAnd NO it is not your place to decide to give your baby things he might be allergic to.
HE COULD DIE! Wait for the doctor and ask him.
Stop putting your baby in danger-----it is child abuse.
