I got by braces off in the 8th grade. Since then I have worn retainers. About three years ago I went In for my last appointment and they said to wear my retainers just once a month at night. I normally have to wear them more than that to keep my teeth from hurting and to keep from feeling as if my teeth are shifting. Do you think I will need to get braces again since my retainers don't seem to be working. Also, i think they might have taken braces off too early since I grew nine inches since they took my braces off. I am not sure if that could be the problem.Thank you!
мєяιѕα - What do you mean your retainer is not working? They don't fit is what I'm guessing you're trying to say. I would make an appointment with your dentist and ask how your teeth look. Once a month? That's total bull. You're supposed to wear them 2-3 times a week, definitely not once a month.
