but for when i go back to school,i will have to eat more,unfortunately...
So if i dont have breakfast or supper,and i only have a salad at meal time,will i get fat??or will i stay as i am or even go down??
please dont talk about metabolism and that your body goes on survival mode,just tell me if i will get fat or not...

CaptainCrapsticks - You're wreaking havoc on your metabolism and encouraging survival mode. That will make your body STORE fat.

Extreme dieting can reduce your weight, BUT this happens because you don't have the energy to maintain your body's muscles.
By losing muscle, you will increase the proportion of your bodyweight that is made up from fat.
To get rid of fat, you need to use it up, as fuel for movement. This will not happen if your body is short of fuel, and therefore unwilling to move energetically. Many anorexics THINK that they are active enough to burn off plenty of fat, but they are kidding themselves.
Try judging your body by what it can DO. Improving your strength will make your body more capable AND more streamlined. This strategy WILL NOT make you lighter, but it will make you LOOK lighter.
(Because most other people are confused about bodyfat & weight, not just you.)
Michaela - Discuss this with a parent or older sibling, I know you don't want to hear this but you are well on the way to a potentially FATAL eating disorder. A teenage girl needs around 2200 calories a day, if you need to lose weight, which you very likely do not, don't go under 1,500.
ReplyDeleteOf course you can't get fat eating a salad, in fact eating more will help you to lose more. Eat a normal amount and exercise, you may not like that idea but it's the only way. You'll end up passing out in school.

ChemoAngel - unfortunately? You can NOT survive on just a tomato or a piece of bread! Yes you will get fat, because you are not eating! See your doctor because you have a very serious eating disorder.
