I don't eat breakfast, and for lunch it tends to be like a bowl of cereal or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I end up eating only one meal (what you would consider a meal) a day, and that's around 5. The rest of the day I eat junk food. Clearly, it's not healthy at all, but it's a bad habit I can't stop.
I want to know how I should get back on track of eating regularly and healthy without messing up my metabolism, if it isn't already.
Emily - RESTRAIN YOURSELF! i know it's hard, but you can do it! And have self-discipline.
ReplyDeleteErin Hansen - never skip breakfast. YOu need to start out with something that will fill you up for a few hours( plus it kicks up your metabolism) Try this:
ReplyDeleteBreakfast: Bagel with peanut butter and a banana
snack: apple or crackers
lunch: some type of carb with a fruit and protein.
snack: fruit and/or crackers or salad or something
Dinner: Eat whatever as long as you don't eat tooo much.
Eat vegetables whenever your hungry tooo and lots of lean meats like fish chicken and turkey. Water and milk and yogurt too when youre hungry. Try and model of this:) Hope it helps.
Maggie - Try eating 5 times a day every 2-3 hours, eating healthy foods the size of you fist! Also, don't have those bad things near you! Get them away. Try eating breakfast too, that boost you metabolism and helps ya lose weight. Eat like this, and you'll be back on track ;)
ReplyDeleteICEN - well if you want your metabolism higher what you have to do is eat small meals throughout the day not as big as a normal meal smaller, so lets say you only have 2 meals per day and they are big meals. you would split those meals into smaller parts so you have 4 meals but the same amount of food. this is why body builders eat like this because if you have smaller meals you can digest it quicker than if you had a big meal.
ReplyDeleteoh and there is no way to stop bad eating habits besides just stop doing it. if you can find how to stop bad eating habits without just stoppin you let me know cuz thats never gonna happen.
Taylor - If you skip meals you will gain more weight. just eat healthier like instead of junk food eat some fruit or a few crackers and go on a walk or jog.
