My Fiance Has A Testicular Mass...?

396545116 He has a pea sized lump on a testicle. He says it doesn't really move (like a cyst) and he doesn't know how long he's had it. He's going to make an appointment tomorrow.

What are the odds that it's a tumor? What are the odds that it's a malignant tumor?
What should he expect at the doctor's appointment? We just moved so it will be a new doctor.

  1. Steven Ewing - It most likely is a epididymis cyst....they can be common..composed of solidified sperm in the tube that stores sperm. An ultra sound will most likely resolve what it is.

  2. Denisedds - Considering there is no mention of swelling and we only have an average of 11,000 cases of testicular cancer each year I’d say his chances are slim to none.

  3. Tina of Lymphland.com - You don't say your ages and health. It could be a wen benign tumor or a hard cyst. The doctor will examine him and make a determination maybe do blood work, want a biopsy but the doctor will have more of an idea then we will on here. Good luck!
