  1. ClicketyClack - Allergies can come and go and doctors still don't know why. It's actually not that unusual.

  2. Dr.dhananjaya Bhupathi - •HOW TO IDENTIFY THE ALLERGY*** TRIGGERS: Maybe, U r taking certain foodstuff most regularly, unknowingly unsuitable to Ur body’s constitution. Fur of dogs/cats/rabbits, bird's excreta, pollen grains, certain medicines, food stuff like horse gram powder, wheat, soya beans, hair dyes, shampoos, ointments, condoms manufactured by certain companies, certain jewellery mixed with spurious metals, etc., may be triggers of allergy to certain body-constitutions.
For permanent cure, prudent to identify the allergy-triggers and discard them from Ur diet/vicinity.

  3. Trooper - Once you are allergic to a substance you will always remain allergic to it unless you get desensitized. Desensitization is a very costly exercise and involves many injections of the allergen.

It is for this reason that doctors always ask you if you are allergic to anything. They know allergies NEVER go away.

The process by which an allergy develops is not clearly understood.

  4. redhead - It could be the type of cat. I am allergic to long hair cats, but not short haired ones. Just my experience.
