dig - It's usually an immune response gone wrong, but that response could have happened for so many different reasons.. many of which aren't known. My doctors thought that my diagnosis had something to do with the bad bout of flu that I had right before my diagnosis. They thought my immune system accidentally attacked the cells in my pancreas that make insulin, instead of the flu. You may want to ask your parents or have them ask your brother's doctors. It's good that you want to understand why this is happening to your brother and they should explain it to you.

ReplyDeleteNoccie - Nobody knows for sure what causes Juvenile Diabetes. Researchers think that it is an autoimmune disorder, but they aren't sure yet.
