Shergill - Hi Keith,
ReplyDeleteI am happy that you are seeing a doctor regularly. It is clear that the ecg and associated tests were negative.
I agree with your Dr. Your anxiety and acid reflux are giving you the chest pain.
Roscoe Brown - I have these pains also. But it isn't heart pain. I've had 3 heart attacks and I know the difference. It's pain in the sternum or breast bone as you call it. More like a bruise in the muscles and cartilage and hurts worse when I cough. Usually if I'm stressed and my upper back is tight is when this bothers me the most. If I get in my truck and pull the door closed against the wind it will start this pain to hurting and it might take several days for it to subside. One thing I have found that helps is to put a heating pad on my chest while laying on my back. I cover it with a towel or a blanket to hold the heat in. It helps draw blood to the sternum and relieves the pain.
