My friend is 12 (turning 13 soon) and is being treated for leukemia, and has been since June. She started chemo in July. She will have chemo for 2 years(ish), along with steroids, etc. She has ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia). I was wondering if she would be able to have any kids, or if the chemo would make her infertile. She has always wanted a family, so I was just wondering.Friday, January 6, 2012
If You Had Leukemia As A Kid, Can You Have Kids?

ReplyDeleteMeriam - yeah she will, all chemo does is kill cells in the particualr area it is focused, she will be ok. i hope she gets well soon:)
