
This year, I am finally going to lose weight (I know... that's the typical new years resolution, but whatever!) and I was just curious on how long it would take for me to lose weight. I am 15 years old and weigh 175 lbs. I have cut out all junk food, soda, and sugary desserts and i have lowered my portions to 1/3 of what i used to eat. I also have winter conditioning at my school and i work out for 2 hours about 5-6 days a week. I'm a girl and i'm 5'4. So how long do you think it'll take for me to lose 55 lbs? And is this as good plan, or is it unreasonable?

laura - Not bad!! it's actually really healthy!! I'm 16 and I suggest trying Paleo. Paleo is just eating real food (only fruits, vegetables, and meat). It sounds crazy but its totally doable and you will have more energy and probably improved performance! i definitely recommend checking out!!

ReplyDeleteLittleMo - unreasonable? of course its not unreasonable. but, ur really going to have to count ur calories to be sure that your not over or undereating. calories really are the bottom line in whether or not you will lose or not. well, when i tried to lose weight it started out at a pace of 10 lbs a month (i lost about 20 lbs.) so i would give yourself at least 6 months for sure. perhaps a little longer even.

ReplyDeleteHowever, in 2009 Christmas, I went to Australia with my friends, I found that my weight increased to 196lbs. I can’t find any excuse for not reducing my weight.
Luckily, my friend introduced an incredible weight management method to me. I have already reduced 6lbs and shed 2 inches off my waistline in 1 week. It is fascinating product.
