I am 23 and have got to the point i am sick of my teeth, i should have had a brace when i was younger and didn't so i am now facing the consequences, what i am left with is my bottom half of my jaw is compact together to the level that they are slightly crooked and the top level is the same yet slightly less crooked but i have these two fang looking teeth at the top, they are not terrible but definitly noticeably, also because of the incorrect alignment of my teeth when i grind my teeth it chips the front teeth as the back ones don't connect correctly, does anyone have any advise on the cost this situation would cost to fix?
many thanks
ToothGuy - It would impossible to tell just by the description. Your best bet is to go for a full dental evaluation. There're likely a number of ways to treat your condition, each with its own pros and cons. It may not be too late for braces, typically though, the older you are the longer it takes.
ReplyDeleteDumdedum - You and your clinical need is individual and very specific to you.
ReplyDeleteAs you need to pay for them on a private basis then you can make yourself an appointment with an orthodontist for evaluation and discussion and you get a choice of braces.
Your own regular dentist may also work closely with a particular practitioner and may be able to advise you as well as to where to go. You still need a regular dentist to work along side the orthodontics anyway.
Average costs can be anything from 2,500 to 5,500 but there are cases that can cost far more than that, but that is the total cost and should cover all the treatments and follow ups.
