Felex Fff - Yes, if not in the armed forces. You have to keep your sugar above 120mg/dl (6.6mmol/l) while working and if you sleep on the boat make sure your mates know what to do if you get low. Make sure you bring all of the supplies you need with back ups, you don't want to have to go back because you didn't bring enough, that would get you fired. You can do anything a non diabetic can do, you just have to educate the people around you.
Basically I am wondering if a diabetic could work at sea.
