Can I Lose Weight Without Having My Boobs Get Smaller?
I'm 140 lbs and I'm a D cup. I'm trying to lose 20 lbs but I don't want to go back down to a C. Is there a way I can lose the 20 lbs but the breast mass?
Mujer Alta - Good luck with that. Our boobs are nothing but packages of fat. Lose weight=Loose fat=Loose boobs. Some people seem to have the right genes and loose from hips and thighs before loosing from the top but, unfortunately, most of us lack those genes. Unless you're 6'6" tall, a C cup is nothing to scoff at;-) If you're average height and bone structure, a D cup will eventually end up giving you back pain.
yomama - there is nothing you can really do...since your breast are mostly fat, once you start dropping body fat% your breasts will shrink. Now everyone's body is different so some females lose primarily from their legs/hips first, others their stomach, and some their breasts. Since you're trying to drop 20 lbs (out of 140) your breasts will almost guaranteed get smaller...only way to know how much is by doing it. Get them measured (profesionally) before and after so you can note the change
Edit - that's why most female fitness competitors (at least the experienced ones) get breast implants
semi-veggie - Dieting is what causes you to lose a lot of fat... Exercising shouldn't affect it TOO much.
