The reason why Omega 3 from fish, flax or hemp seed oil combines with the cannabinoids of the cannabis bud oil to destroy cancer cells:

Cruciferous vegetables
(present in this food group is one group of phytonutrients-the glucosinolates)

Cruciferous vegetables that heal ulcers and prevent cancers:
broccoli*, red cabbage*, kale*, collard greens*, Brussels sprouts, kohlabi...
All, when eaten raw, or steamed, "contain some key isothiocyanates that form after the glucosinolates have been acted upon by myrosinase enzymes. For every specific glucosinolate, there are corresponding anti-cancer compounds produced following action of the myrosinase enzyme."
To the first three responders:
Each of the remedies above have the "Scientific research" to back up the claims. But why this would be 'suppressed', even by yourselves, possibly explains why 30 percent of the population will experience some form of cancer in their life. When research backs up such findings....yet only remedies rubber-stamped by the ''cancer industry" get taken seriously, we are in a sad situation indeed.
Peregrine Delauney - Yes, that's all well and good. However, if I'm unlucky enough to be corrupted by some vulgar tumour one day, I think I'd prefer to receive medical treatment that has been researched and improved for decades by experts and indeed saved the life of my mother some years ago.
ReplyDeleteI suspect the cure for cancer is more likely to emerge from the arena of medicine rather than the greengrocer.
Rosemarie - I'm afraid research has shown the although 'natural' remedies may make cancer patients feel positive about themselves, they are not true remedies. Holistic treatment that makes people feel more positive about their illness is useful, but these do not treat the core illness itself.
ReplyDeleteOzgirl - I be very interested to know which of the many cancers you can PROVE have responded to these treatments. Personal knowledge, that is, not some ill-researched unproven papers.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, like others, I am content to place my trust in those treatments that are known to give me and mine a fighting chance.
thinkingtime - All a waste of time. Any scientific research will turn out to be fake. Save your money for real treatment.
ReplyDeleteProbably OK for general healthy eating.
scrumpyboy - Government are suppressing the benefits of cannabinoids. They have cannabis as a schedule 1 drug (no medicinal properties) but have licenced Sativex which is just cannabis tincture which, as a schedule 1 drug, is illegal. They need to reschedule Sativex based on its contents (which are exactly the same as the naturally growing plant) but, if they do, they will, in effect, legalise cannabis and have to admit it has massive medicinal value. This puts them in a very difficult position and means they will have to explain all the lies they have told over the years and why we have been deprived of the most beneficial medical plant on the planet. Even breast milk contains cannabinoids because our whole physical system is managed by cannabinoids.
ReplyDeleteGoogle 'Granny Storm Crow's Medical Marijuana list'. Nearly six hundred pages of positive stuff!
lo_mcg - So...you've cured your own cancer using these 'remedies'?
ReplyDeleteThought not.
You know several people personally who have, then?
Thought not.
You know ONE person who has?
No, thought not.
You found it all on the internet and accepted it uncritically?
Thought so.
You have linked to one blog, two magazine articles and two reports of one study.
Studies can be very interesting. Studies suggest possibilities for further research. Studies are not proof.
Still, should you develop cancer you will be free to use whatever 'remedies' you choose. I sincerely hope your outcome will be as good as mine - complete remission and no sign of cancer almost 8 years after diagnosis with stage 3 cancer. Come back and let us know
april - Why the hell did I get cancer when I make brocolli almost every dinner and eat it raw with dips and eat it raw in salads?? WTF! Oh, because it's healthy not a medical cure duh...
ReplyDeleteLo_Mcg says it soooo much more pleasant than I will ever attempt.
Your quotes around your "scientific research" lol that's our version of sarcasm and "so called" lol
During my treatments, I took omegas and green tea, but would be dead if that's ALL I used...
When you get cancer, you'll be knocking down the dr's door to get to real medical treatment..
Confuzzled - All natural cancer-treatment drugs currently known to man are already converted into a synthetic form and administered as chemotherapy (e.g. vinca plants, gold etc). Anyone trying to sell unlicenced plants/remedies that have not been sceintifically tested are endandering lives as you need evidential proof that something works/doesn't create other nasty side-effects before trusting it.
ReplyDeleteCannabinoids can help reduce the nausea that some people experience during chemotherapy.
Basically, if a substance doesn't appear in a peer-reviewed scientific journal as evidence-based proof that it effective, avoid it. The vast majority of medicines today are synthetic equivalents of natural substances.
Flizbap 2.0 - None of these are cures, none of them are "being suppressed" obviously as I can buy any of them in bulk even, and none of your "studies" indicate anything promising.
ReplyDeleteYou have no evidence to back up your claims, just more conspiracy theories, congratulations on being exactly like every single other crackpot on the internet.
