Not Sure What It Is, Maybe You Can Help?

I went to a park, after it just rained, and well mosquitoes looove moisture and sappy weather, so they were everywhere, i had a jacket and jeans the only thing exposed were my hands and my pinky got bit by something, I thought was a mosquito bite, but i have never ever had a reaction to them like this..

The day of the bite, itched like crazy, stopped bothering it and the itching went away, but when i got home it was bothering me again so i put liquid benedryl on it and went to sleep, it woke me up the next morning, my entire finger itching and burning so i was rubbing it not scratching, and i tried to go back to sleep but my finger felt weird so i looked at it and its red and swollen! it was burning more than itching, red, numb/tingling and swollen very badly, i took a shower and hot water hurt, it felt like my finger was on fire...

today my finger is still swollen and red and numb feeling, its not itching anymore but i can see the bite better than i could yesterday, still looks like a mosquito bite...

I took 2 benadryl pills and the swelling went down just a little bit..

what is it? is this normal? what should i do?
