ReneeGade - a child smoking is illegal and anyone who buys them smokes or lets them smoke is a criminal. If you catch them, ground them from something they like until they can prove to you that they are not smoking. that something could be phone, school trips, parties, hanging out with others who smoke. You say "I am not your dad's mother. He is an adult. I have no control over what he does, but I have control over what you do, and I will punish you if I catch you." You can also prevent your kid's dad from coming into your home, smoking. Tell him he is not allowed in your home or on your porch smoking. He cannot smoke around the children and tell him if he lets them smoke, you will have him arrested for contributing ot th e delinquency of minors. Stick to it. Do not make idle threats. When they are adults, there is nothing you can do, but wear black to their funerals.
buunymommyof5 - yikes back bad i would say if they r under 18 and u see them smoking ask them were they got them and if they say daddy then call the cops but if they r 18 or older theres not much you can do why would there dad give them smokes anyways
