Does Medicaid Cover Iv Sedation For Non Surgical Procedures? Dentist Suggested It Due To Mental Illness.?

396545381 I tried to get my cavities filled today, they tried to use laughing gas but I freaked out 2 minutes into it. So they suggested I get IV sedation since the stress of being terrified of dentist made my psychosis much worse and they didn't want me to freak out on them because I told them I do get violent when I get into my weird moods like that and I think someone is trying to kill me.
Does medicaid pay for it?
Yes. Medicaid does do dental here. I live in Texas and have the star plus program.

    alidan1984 - Your best bet would be to just call them and ask. They might say they need a doctors order saying its medically nessary. Your lucky my Medicaid won't pay a dime for dental.
