does getting a bunch of teeth pulled hurt? I have to get 4 teeth pulled out... in the same day. IM SO SCARED. and im only 10. does it hurt when i get them out?
Rebecca W - I had 4 adult and 5 baby teeth pulled when I was young. They numb your mouth so you don't feel anything. It just makes a weird noise and you feel a slight tug. You will be fine.
jamie - It all depends on which teeth are being pulled and whether or not you are going to be awake during the procedure. I know for a fact that when you are awake, you will feel tugging and pulling and/or hear as well but the office will freeze you good so you shouldn't be discomforted.
Just try not to think about it too much- you will heal fast. I had to get 4 pre-molars, 4 wisdoms & 2 supernumerary teeth out in one day but I was asleep and I was fine afterwards and felt nothing during the procedure.
You are still young; you will heal just fine and yes, it will probably hurt a little bit but just make sure to take the precautionary notes/sheet that the dentist/office gives you and you should be fine. Good lucky to you. And what my dentist said- "No pain, no gain." =)
