I know that if you have skin cancer, it's a really ugly deformed mole. Out of no where, I found a little mole on the bottom of my thumb on my right hand. I've never had it there before in my life. It was in between the back of my hand and where your palm is. It was red and tiny and it was a bump. Now today, it's light brown and moved closer to my palm. I know how to tell if a mole is skin cancer, sometimes they move. So do I?
MY MOM DOESN'T BELIEVE ME AND WON'T LET ME GO TO THE DOCTOR! WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?!?!
I'm 11 and sensitive so my parents think I'm over reacting. I also can't find the doctors office in the phone book.
Michael R - If it is changing color and shape and has not been there since birth, get it checked out. Typically, cancerous things on the skin have little or no bump, but judging by what you have said, I would get it checked out ASAP!
ReplyDeleteMaryC - Get this checked out as soon as possible. Experts tell us that if there is any change in a mole, it needs to be checked out.
