Cancer? Inneffective Chemo? Inoperable? Please Help?

396545116 My friend told me he just arrive from the doctor and be prepared to hear bad news. Well he has been experiencing headaches. The first examination on the doctors clinic found nothing in his head. The second examination found the problem at the base of the spine. He told me that chemo will be ineffective and this type of cancer constricts the blood vessel to the cord. That's all the info I got from him for now. Is there any cure for him? inoperable means "cant be operated" and no chemo? what happens now? Help me, I want to understand this as I pray for my friend. Thanks

  1. Rick - Find out what the specific technical diagnosis is. Then look it up to see what the latest treatments are and the survival rate. Could it be Neuroblastoma?

  2. Zachary Munshaw - What there saying in short is "There's nothing we can do, chemotherapy(the process of killing abnormal cells) would either A. cause more damage then repair B. The cancer has to many defenses against this type of cancer, and the tumor is in an area in which operating is impossible due to the location, and size of the tumor", im really sorry for you friend, if you want to help, research DCA cancer treatments, and Im not religious, but i will pray.

  3. Tiny - You might want to encourage your friend to look into a second opinion. Sometimes one surgeon will see a way that another surgeon didn't think of. Your friend didn't supply any sort of details or even name this cancer so it is impossible to give any advice on that. Best Wishes.
