Side Stitches During Workout?

396545382 I've been getting a lot of stitches when working out lately. It seems I can't go for very long into my workout when I can barely move because of the cramps. I can shake them out eventually, but I have never had this issue before. Nothing about my pre-workout activities have changed: I don't guzzle water or eat beforehand and I make a point to stretch my abdomen out more, too. I run in the mornings and take a cardio kickboxing class 5 nights a week. This has been my schedule for over a year.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? Been ongoing for a couple of weeks now.

  1. Zelda - Stitches are a sign that you arnt getting enough oxygen in your body when exercising, or it can be caused by still having to much food in your body when exercising,
And the cramps can be caused by not enough water,
So just remember to breathe lots throughout your workout to keen the new oxygen pumping thought your body, and drink at least 7 glasses of big water a day :)
Oh and don't eat to close to a workout :)
