I went out on Sunday night, and I drunk quite a lot of alcohol and fell asleep on the sofa. I woke up and got a drink the next day, and I noticed my left hand was tingling, like pins and needles, mostly my ring and little fingers, and my left side of my face around my cheek was tingling too.
It is now Tuesday morning and it still feels tingly.
Do you think it is all related? or do you think it is to do with the alcohol? I am so scared.
I haven't been able to sleep, I don't even feel tired. Could it be cancer?
Imvon Target - yep it could.
ReplyDeletego visit doctor
Georgia - The only person who can help you is your own doctor. Make an appointment to see them. Don't rely on advice from non-medical experts on here.
ReplyDeletePompous Harris - I am getting so bored of you keep posting the same question.
ReplyDeleteMy answer remains the same:
Same thing happened to me last year.
I'd get yourself down to A&E ASAP.
I ignored it and 3 weeks later my arm had to be amputated as I was riddled with cancer.
It was the alcohol that induced it so I'd give that up if I was you and maybe then you will start to see thigs a lot clearer.
Good luck with your arm xx.
Susan T - Could be a mini stroke if it is one side or could be something completely harmless, but go to doc's to ease your mind.
ReplyDeleteCuppus - It could be I suppose...it's always better to check it out and go to your GP. Then you will know that you either do or don't have it, and you won't be worrying like this for ages! Good luck, and I hope that it isn't cancer! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteLauren Johnstone - I would suggest to go to a doctors and get it looked at properly that's the only thing I can think of doing

alcohol may aggravate Ur symptoms.

U may see a local homeopath or a GP or a neuro-physician for a permanent cure.

ReplyDeleteCancer Research UK - Hi Sophie,
ReplyDeleteIt is only a doctor who can examine you who can suggest what is wrong. So if your symptoms do not resolve, it would be a good idea to make an appointment to see your GP. This is the best way to put your mind at rest.
Having said this, I do not think that you need to overly concerned about the symptoms being due to cancer. If you slept rather heavily you may have fallen asleep on your arm and this can sometimes result in temporary tingling. But do get checked out just to be on the safe side.
