Today I took my blood pressure at a local Rite aid and it came out 98 / 65. Now i'm just wondering if that's bad or if its normal? what could that mean? anything?please tell me what you think. thank you

ur boi - 2nd year med student: normal is 120/80 but u took it in one of those machines probably dont trip those arent accurate

ReplyDeletenormally bp is within 120-125 / 80. 98/65 is very low. are you taking anti coagulants or have a heart condition? people with low bp are prone to fainting.
those commercial ones on stands are not calibrated half the time giving inaccurate readings.
its best to have it assessed by a Professional with a calibrated blood pressure monitor.
Tigger - It's low, but don't worry about it if it is your normal. Ideal is 120/80...
