Tigger - Since she is 44 she is perimenopausal which will cause irregular periods and excessive bleeding and clotting at times. Surgery causes interruption of periods also. She should use some type of birth control at least till she is fully recovered. Women at that age should not be getting pregnant, there is a very high possibility of birth defects. They will put off the biopsy till she tests negative for the pregnancy test...
