im allergic to cats and Iiknows its the cats dandruff and saliva but is this cat actually good with allergies & when i am around a cat i get itchy and welts

A breeder will actually let you mail them a handkerchief, place it in the cat's bed for the cat to lie on and then mail it back to you. That way, you can tell in advance if you are allergic.
