Nana Lamb - Not necessarily! It only means you have been fasting for more than 6 hours! Your liver gives the signal that your body is in need of stored glucose dump and it happens. I don't think it affects your cholesterol and blood pressure, at least not much.
Logan A - It means that your body will "hang on" to body fat and not utilize it for energy properly. Cholesterol and blood pressure are probably not related. You should eat about fifty percent fruits and vegetables ---twenty-five percent protean and about twenty-five percent carbohydrate. All bread, potatoes, and pasta are carbohydrate. Keep to these ratios and you will probably loose weight (slowly).
