I was told I have to have a gum surgery because I press down hard when I brush my teeth and that is what's causing my lower gum under one tooth to be really low. The tooth is really sensitive and the nerve is almost exposed. What would this surgery be called, how would it be done, and what is the recovery time? Thanks for your help in advance!They were not saying anything about pulling the tooth, but thanks anyway.
F P - Once the pull the tooth, the nerve will be gone. Otherwise, ask them. They should tell you.
