natvar p - Friend, First of all, what is your cholesterol? There too two types of it. To reduce bad one you should not use vegetable ghee (Dalda). Til oil is best to use. If you take pure ghee, then insist for Indian Cow's milk and Ghee. Haldi is the best for you. If you are not underweight you can take Harde or Trifala.
Neel S - it depends on ur cholesterol level...if it consistently remain too high than u shuld start medication as it ll be risky...otherwise...regular exercise, weight reduction, 3-4 almond per day..., raw garlic is very helpfull..and ya i heard it from my neighbour that fresh "Lauki"(doodhi) (bottle gourd) juice regularly really helps...
