Xavier - 6 times a week. Make surr u don't do all 7 or your muscles will be really sore and wont have time to repair itself. Also, DRINK DRINK DRINK protein shakes!!!! They will recover your muscles to make them gain mass because when you work out, your muscle tissue is being torn (to get bigger) and needs protein to repair.
Schlachta - Start out with the three main lifts. Squats, Dead lifts, and bench press. Work shoulders in one of those days.
You need rest, and a sufficient diet. Please don't listen to xavier. He's young and doesn't know what he's talking about. You don't NEED a protein shake. They are a waste of money. Get your protein from whole food sources.
Make sure you are in a calorie surplus. This will help you put on the muscle. 500 calories over maintenance will help you acquire good muscle gains and minimal fat gains.
Also, find a routine that is good for you.
If you are ecto....you can skip the cardio day. It won't be necessary. All cardio does is burn calories that you need.
