Heather - The healthy way to gain weight is to eat more energy & calorie dense foods such as: dried fruits, dairy products, nuts, avocados, peanut butter, cheese, etc. That way you are not getting a body full of unhealthy empty calories, but are still in-taking more calories, healthy fats, etc.
soundarya - first know ur BMI score. ur WEIGHT(kgs)/ HEIGHT(sq.m)..If this value is well below 20 only then ur underweight.eat 2 servings of fruit juices with sugar daily,2 servings of whole milk,5 servings of fruits.cashews and almonds will help u a lot.take a handful of both daily.have 5 servings of food daily with a gap of 2-3hrs.if ur non-veg have chicken/mutton once a week.stop eating junk foods,they will make u put weight but in an unhealthy way.after all BE HAPPY..don't get anxious about gaining weight..ur just 13.relax.
Lianne and Luke - always have your 3 main meals but inbetween them snack every 2 hours or so just keep snacking throughout the day!
