So when i was washing up "down-there" (im 15 & Female) i found a large bump on the side of my vagina closer to my thighs. I looked at it as well as i could due to the awkwardness of reaching it & looking at it in detail due to where it is located, and it doesnt appear to be a tick or bug bite. But when i pinch it and the sorrounding skin, it feels almost like a large pimple or cyist in a way. It isnt painfull, but i dont want to tell my mom unless it is dangerous or needs medical help. Could this be cancer or a cyist??? Is it dangerous?!?!Monday, September 26, 2011

Rae Rae - Mostlikely a cyst I get them I'd still go to the doctor to get it checked out bc they can get really BIG sometimes mine havent tho my sister's did ended up having stuff come out of it and a doctor had to drain it...

ChemoAngel - Boil. Apply Hot compresses of epsom salt to it, and slather it with Neosporin. It will disappear in a week.

ReplyDeleteFlo Ant - Agree with Serene, Rae Rae and ChemoAng - it isn't cancer.
ReplyDeleteBoil, cyst, ingrown hair, but definitely not cancer because this isn't a symptom on cancer in that area of the body.
If it hasn't gone and begins to cause a lot of discomfort your Dr can maybe treat it, but if it isn't causing too many problems don't stress - it is definitely not cancer, just part of being a woman honey!
