I was given ondansetron because I also had to take Vicodin after a cosmetic surgery in case the vicodin caused nausea. I never needed to take the vicodin so in turn also never needed ondansetron. However I have severe stomach issues (I had a bad ulcer a few months ago) and currently I cannot eat without feeling really nauseated. I'm going to a doctor in two weeks but in the mean time will taking the ondansetron help?Monday, September 19, 2011
Can I Take Ondansetron If I'm Not Going Through Chemo?

cbrdgt. - Zofran is a very strong drug which should only be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Taking Ondansetron isn't going to heal your ulcer, it's just going to mask your true problem. I'd try an OTC like Pepcid to see if that helps.
