About Diabetes.......?

396545384 So i've been diabetic for about a year and half ( I was diagnosed end of February 2010) and i'm still having my ups and downs with it. But that's not got much to do with my question. I love dancing. But dancing takes up allot of energy. I know if I have a hypo I can treat it. But If I became more active than what I am now,(I'm not lazy but i'm not super energetic) would my body become more used to physical activities so that when I would do allot of dancing I wouldn't have a hypo?

  1. Nana Lamb - I have a lot of friends who TEACH dancing of various types and are diabetic!! Dancing is excellent exercise for those of us who have either type of diabetes, one of the more fun types of exercise there is.

I never experience any hypos while doing any form of exercise, in fact, most forms of exercise will raise my glucose a little bit so I have to be careful that I do not crash on resting portion of exercise plans.
