My guess is I got it from picking green beans half an hour ago. I was up to my armpits in the plants to pick them, and they brushed my legs a couple of times. About 15 minutes ago my arms started to itch and soon they were covered in tiny red bumps, as well as a couple of places on my thighs.I just took a Zyrtec and rubbed 1% Hydrocortisone cream on the itchy/red areas about 5 minutes ago. It stung for a second, but now the affected areas are just itchy again. How long will it take before the itching and bumps go away? Is it anything I need to worry about? Is there anything else I should do?
charlotte - It'll probably still be there tomorrow but since you caught it early it should be gone within a week.
