my whole face is bright red, super white in some, swollen (my eyes are swollen to),itching, tight, and hot feeling. any ideas on how to fix any part of it? i've already taken two allergy pills but i'll probably take more. thanks in advance (:allergic reaction to a face product. sorry i forgot

ReplyDeleteSmiley - This sounds kind of serious. Have you seen or at least talked to a doctor? If not, I recommend you do. If your allergy pills haven't done anything yet, I'm thinking there's something else going on or you need a different med. Meds themselves can cause allergies that make facial parts swell but you have more than that going on you mentioned. Remove doubt, see a doc, if you can. Otherwise, you can always put cool compacts on your face - as simple as a wash cloth run under cold water to using ice packs - to relieve the heat feeling, but if you also have tingling, then there's nerves involved in some way. Are you by any chance taking Niacin, especially, large doses? That can cause this kind of thing with the tingling, but I'm speaking as a patient who's had similar things happen, not as a medical professional. Take that into consideration when weighing these answers.
