Am I Overweight??????????

396545382 Im a thirteen year old girl. I am 5 feet 2 inches tall and I weigh 135 pounds.
I also play soccer and i am an endurance swimmer so I have lots of muscles in my legs

  1. April - Well I'm 16, 5ft2 and weigh 105 pounds. My doctor told me I'm a great weight for my height and age so I guess you are? Sorry. You should calculate your BMI or go see your doctor though.

  2. Elizabeth Chavoya - Some one who is ure height should weight 115 so just need to lose about 20, eat healthy change sweets for fruits running and crunches help :)

  3. hanerz - i calculated your BMI, which shows if your overweight, underweight, obese, etc. 18-24 is a good weight. Under 18 underweight, over 24 overweight. your's is 24.7

  4. Lucy Squires - Okay, honestly my first impressions would be that it's a little on the heavier side for someone who's 5ft2 - I'm 5ft5 and 126 pounds. But then I read you're 13 so that might just be puppy fat. Take steps to get regular exercise and cut out junk food out of your diet and once you hit 17 I'm sure your weight would've adjusted itself a bit. BUT don't go overboard with the diet because you're still growing and need plenty of fuel!

  5. barsal13 - thats a bit much for your hieght and age. You should go to your docter and get it checked out if you like. but try to cut down on sweets, eat healthier carbs. Fruits and vegetables do the trick. moderate excercise, dont over due it trya nd trick your body. NEVER starve yourself. when you do that your body starts to store fat, and it saves all the fat from anything that you eat. drink lots of water.
