I am 13 and I have been really tired even if I got 10 hours of sleep and I have a lost of appetite and I have been very thirsty and also I feel dizzy. thanks:)
SpicyIcee - Um, I don't think so. Normally people with diabetes will have an extreme hunger, weight loss, extreme thrist and other symptoms. Please check your weight and see if it's in the normal limits. Keep an eye on it and if you lose any without chnage in diet (or even eating more) i would be more concerend. has your mom or dad noticed any chnage in you? What about your moods? Talk to your parents, get a check up. I won't hurt.
Hollie - Go to your doctors and they will do blood tests and will get back to you as soon as they get your results back. be better to go to your doctor than not knowing!
strawberrybanana27 - You should go to the doctor and ask about it. I believe you have to not eat for 8 hours before going though, and you pee in a cup. They will find out if it has sugar in it because it normally doesn't. That is the only true way to know, though your symptoms do sound like you may have it. Best of luck to you !! :)
Bikram Mehmi - you can't really be diagnosed with diabetes over the internet. go see your doctor you will have some test. from my experince i had thease tests and thanfully i diden't have diabetes but most of my familly have type 2 diabetes but i hope you don't have diabetes.
I Love Sean Foreman - I had these symptoms before I was diagnosed. I also lost weight, but when that started happening I went into hospital. I'm 13 too and I was diagnosed in March
You should really get a blood test. Even if anyone you know has a blood testing metre, use theirs and if your blood sugar is over 140, you have diabetes.
