well my grandpa has a red and swollen eyes for 3 days now, but when we ask him he said he was fine! he wouldn't let us drive him to the doctor....and i was wondering does anyone know what happened? or what to do? what medicine to use? should we take him to the hospital? well my grandpa has a red and swollen eyes for 3 days now, but when we ask him he said he was fine! he wouldn't let us drive him to the doctor....and i was wondering does anyone know what happened? or what to do? what medicine to use? should we take him to the hospital? Jackie234 - Duh take him to the doctor and if he doesnt wanna go to the doctor call the doctor and ask him to come to your house
ReplyDeleteNadee - It could be pink eye (conjunctivitis). Since it hasn't gotten better in 3 days, he may need an antibiotic eye drop or ointment. If he won't go to the doctor, go to the pharmacy and pick up a bottle of "pink eye drops". If you can't find it, ask the pharmacist. It's usually with the other eye drops. If you can get him to go to the pharmacy with you, a lot of them have health clinics now and they could prescribe the antibiotic eye drops for him. Be careful. Pink eye can be contagious.
