I Have All Three Of The Valves In My Heart That Have A Mild Leak Was Told Lots People Have This Condition .?
I have all three valves that leak mildly recent teeth work jaw feels funny,no chest pain a little tired,blood pressure okay 83 yrs should I take aspirin or call doctor tomorrow.
John W - Has the Doctor done an echocardiogram yet, if he has there should be an ejection fraction which is basically how much blood is being moved in the right direction. Healthy people should be in the 90% range but you can be just fine with a rating as low as 40%, 30% and under is when they start muttering heart transplant. Mine recently went down to 20% but I've had heart failure for ten years so that's not too surprising but they specifically said no aspirin. Apparently aspirin is a blood thinner and can do all sort of things to you, you should check with your Doctor before taking aspirin. Only Tylenol is safe.
