It all started when we accidently trapped them in 2 years ago. It's a male and female we're aware of but we know they're most likely breeding more in the sectioned-off kitchen. Every 2 days, they'd repeatedly feed on me and my family (couple with 3 small children), to the point were we've been taken hostage within our own home. The mosquito couple is now well over 5 feet tall. Only the female bites, and she seems to be the one wearing the pants (both figuratively and literally). The male mosquito complies to her every command. He spends most of his time sealing off the kitchen, which appears to be a perfect breeding ground with running water. Every 2 days, it's "feeding time". The female mosquito claws on our bedroom door until we open it (otherwise, she makes a hissing sound and a swarm of her child mosquitoes appear through the cracks to repeatedly bite us. Although, she doesn't want us dead, because after all, we are her only "walking meals". So far, if we do what she wants, she keeps us alive for another day. The negotiation involves us opening the door, she waddles in (all of her 5ft 3 inch frame with an extra long needle nossle). Her male mate follows closely behind (for "backup"). She points to whom she wants to feed off today (my eldest son Jake is a favorite, we think it has something to do with his severe acne), then she grabs a hold of him, while we all start sobbing frantically, and inserts her "blood sucking straw" into his neck until it punctures the skin. Jake usually feels very sleepy afterwords and must lay down. In exchange for our cooperation, she permits only one of us to leave the apartment for shopping. As for financial means, i am retired and collect disability pay (how ironic).
One day, my wife had an ingenius idea to overcome the terrorists. She came home from "shopping" and ran past the male mosquito before he can check the bags, and armed us all with OFF spray (mosquito repellant). We were outnumbered by her "child army". 911 is no use.
Natilee - Kill them all... (smash them) or move.
ReplyDeleteizzy - That's a load of rubbish. Why?
ReplyDeleteStress predisposes to acne. Swat the mozzies and take him to see a doctor.
