Occasionally due to eating certain foods that require heavy chewing the lower gums become quite sensitive.
This makes it quite uncomfortable for chewing until the gums return to normal.
Is there anything that I can do to alleviate the pain prior to eating?
There is no bleeding or swelling of the gums and this is not being caused by a medical condition.
The plates are in good condition and the problem is not a continuous one.
Usami - goggle the gums with mouth wash often rather than brushing with a tooth brush. and don' eat something too cold, hot, and spicy.
ReplyDeletemikerr_uk - If you use SENSODYNE original toothpaste to rub into your gums before inserting plates they will reduce the sensitivity considerably
