Have I Got Brain Cancer?

396545116 Well basically here's the stuff I have
----
I can hear a ringing quiet noise in my ears
I have had occasional headaches
And I have a tendency to forget short term stuff?

I'm scared and I cannot sleep.
Btw I'm only 15
So it's not a tumour, ok it said on some site that these were symptoms but I thought here has experienced people who have been in the situation where they had to deal with the C word
Come to think of it, I have lost a little weight but you guys are right. I'm just paranoid lol, thanks

  2. Graybeard - You have an overactive imagination. None of the things that you mention has anything to do with cancer which would be quite rare at your age in any case.

  3. Alyse Krueger - I believe that the ringing in your ears is probably tinnitus? It can be caused by listening to loud music.
Everyone gets occasional headaches. I would say that if they ever cause you to black out that is when you should worry about them. Also, the memory loss is fairly common.

True signs of cancer are weight loss and extreme fatigue. I wouldn't worry kiddo. Cancer is definitely something to be aware of, but not something to lose sleep over at your age.

  4. april - True signs of brain cancer ARE NOT weight loss and fatigue. It does sound like tinnitus though. They may not be bad in the beginning, but you would have headaches every single day, along with several other weird little symptoms, twitch, deja vu, auras, eye floaters or similar, etc... I also felt like there was a lump of something in my ear. My tumor was above my ear.
