Braces Colors Question?

396545381 I have braces right now and I am going into the office for another appointment. I was wondering what color I should get. I was thinking maybe glow in the dark green or glow in the dark something. Would it look tacky? You can make color suggestions if you want, too!

    Grace - I love pink light green blue and purple! but a good combo would be pink and light green or pink and blue So cute and pretty! :)

    Dr. Adiki ! - Well selection of braces colors depends up on many factors...hope the following info may help you

    1. Ask your orthodontist, or whoever is handling your braces, if they have a color wheel.


    2. Look at the colors on the color wheel. Keep in mind that the colors won't look exactly the same on your braces.

    3. Consider different combinations of colors, such as:

    * Your country colors
    * Your school colors
    * Your favorite sports team's colors
    * Gold and silver
    * Holiday colors
    * Your favorite dressing colors
    * School/Family special occasions (Special Trips, etc.)
    * School Spirit Colors
    * Rainbow (not always available)
    * Your favorite color(s)


    4. Darker colors make your teeth look whiter. Lighter colors can make teeth look more yellow. Good colors to stick with are a darker purple, as well as navy blue.

    5. Choose a color that could make your teeth look whiter, like a light blue. Avoid yellow, this will only make your teeth look yellow and/or orange in pictures.

    6. White makes your teeth look yellow. They also get dirty very fast.

    7. Notify your orthodontist of your choice.

    8. Wait for them to finish applying your braces.

    9. Admire your braces in a mirror!

    10.Go around with a big smile!


    So we see lot of patients who generally goes for darker colors...

    but these the black & light green are mostly used....

    So go thro the color wheel, your dentist advise & match woth your fav color...Dont worry you can change in the course of treatment..

    Vad - Stick with purple, blues or greys.
    Colours that make your teeth look nice.

    Ipsa Koehler - you can get blues or purple color for your braces. opting dark shades will make your teeth look whiter than what actually they are. Don't opt for lighter shades as they get stained easily and look bad later on.
